1. For coach tours, the price includes :

• Provision of 49-seats coach and driver
• Pick-up and set-down anywhere in Brussels
• Provision of guide and commentary
• Tour organisation costs
• Interiors visits as planned in the usual tour, others interiors are available on request with extra fees (see order form)
  Deduction of 250 € if the tour is organised with your own coach (no double-deck coach is allowed and microphone on board is obligatory)

2. For walking tours, the price includes :

• Provision of guide and commentary
• Tour organisation costs

3. Price supplements for guided tours of interiors:

• Autrique house: €50 per group (maximum 25 people) or €100 per group (maximum 50 people)
• Max Hallet house: €550 per group (maximum 25 people)
• Solvay house: €850 per group (maximum 22 people)

4. Order confirmation

To confirm your order, we must receive your completed order form and your payment ten days before the date of your tour. Exceptionally, we will accept orders less than ten days before the tour date, in which case your bank transfer payment must be made immediately.

5. Cancellation

If you cancel an order more than two weeks before the tour date, your payment will be refunded by bank transfer, less a cancellation charge of 25 € for a walking tour and 50 € for a coach tour. If you cancel an order less than two weeks before the tour date, no refund will be made and payment in full will remain due if you had not yet paid.

ARAU reserve the right to cancel tours without refund due to circumstances beyond its control, force majeure, Acts of God, terrorism, accidents or strikes etc. If ARAU cancels a tour for any other reason, any payment made will refunded, less the charges mentioned in above, on request from the client of two weeks’s delay from the date’s tour.

6. Length of tours and Interior Visits

The times specified in the price list are all approximate, and ARAU reserves the right to vary them as required by circumstances beyond its control. ARAU also reserves the right to substitute similar visits of equal interest for any of the interior visits mentioned in the brochure if circumstances on the tour date dictate this.

7. Pick-up and Set-Down

This is included in the tour price, providing the addresses within the Brussels – Capital Region. Pick-up and Set-down outside the Brussels – Capital Region will incur a supplementary charge. Note that ARAU reserves the right to have the guide join and leave at a different location than the pick-up or set-down point.

8. Payment

We will send you an invoice on receipt of your completed order form. Payment must be made by bank transfer before the tour date. All charges payable by sender. We do not accept payment by cheque or in cash or by credit card.

9. Overdue Payments

Invoices that remain unpaid at their due date will incur a late payment charge of 25 € or 15% of their value, whichever is higher, plus compound interest at 1% per month.

10. Applicable law and courts

The customer acknowledges having noted the General Payment Conditions mentioned above and accepts them in full. Any dispute arising from the booking of a guided tour or the way in which it is delivered shall be subject to the exclusive competence of the courts of Brussels and Belgian law will apply to it.
